Our Training Structure for Middle Stage

The Middle School curriculum at Harvest International Schools near Hosa Road comprises interdisciplinary activities, art-integrated projects, subject enrichment activities, and research-based and experiential learning. A life-skill-based curriculum is taught to our students along with a host of co-curricular programs including sports, performing arts, yoga, karate, art and craft and club activities.

At the middle school level, students receive scholastic training in Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Computer Science, as well as language education in English, Hindi and Kannada. Technology-embedded Smart classrooms help teachers to deliver lessons effectively and provide a better learning experience for our students. Workbooks for all subjects are custom-made by the teachers. Students are given THINK TAC kits to experiment with Science concepts on their own.

No learning would be fun without practical demonstration. We have full-fledged laboratories for Math, Sciences and Computer Science as well as access for middle school to Atal Tinkering Lab (ATAL club) where students get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Inter-house activities are conducted to inculcate the spirit of healthy competition among students. Students are exposed to various Olympiads and competitive examinations both at National and International levels. 

To create awareness about national and global issues, our middle schools near Hosa road students are given opportunities to participate in special assemblies and programs that enlighten them about sustainable development goals and help them come up with ideas and solutions to overcome these issues.

After School activities comprise Sports (Football, Basketball, Cricket and Skating), a Foundation course for Grade 8 students [Math & Science] and Atal Tinkering Lab (ATAL club).

    Harvest is a K12 school. We have classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

    Harvest is affiliated to the CBSE board and has the IB- PYP accreditation.

    We have CCTV cameras fitted across the school and a team for surveillance. The perimeters of the school are guarded by well-trained guards. As for the wellbeing of our students and staff, we have a fully equipped infirmary with qualified nurses.

    We pride ourselves in having a low student teacher ratio. The current ratio is 10:1.

    We believe in students having a comfortable uniform which doesn’t required too much maintenance. It is the same uniform for both girls and boys.

    Our Montessori to Grade 3 classes will not have more than 28 students per class and classes upwards will not have more than 30 students per class.

    Extracurricular activities are given equal importance. We offer a variety of Sports, Music, Dance, Cubs & Bubuls and after school club activities.

    We have 2 PTMs in a year. However, parents can take an appointment to meet with the respective teacher during the course of the year.

    We have our own inhouse transport team. The bus fleet is fully owned and run by us. The service is optional and offered to all students within 15km radius of the school.

    The buses are fitted with a CCTV camera, GPS tracker and speed governor. We also have a lady attendant who accompanies the students in the bus. Some of our teachers also commute by the school bus.

    Harvest Farmscape is a farmland attached to our Attibele campus. It is developed by us to help students understand the process of growing crops, interacting with domestic animals and finally to get their hands dirty in the process of learning farming.

    We use Google Classrooms and Microsoft teams to conduct our online classes.
